Gateway Medical was founded in 2017 with the mission of making the immigration medical exam process more convenient for United States green card applicants.
In 2019, the company opened a clinic next to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) immigration center in Oakland Park to provide a convenient, centralized hub that caters specifically to its international clientele.
Gateway Medical is now one of the best known names in South Florida for immigration medical exams and works closely with the Florida Department of Health on matters related to the treatment of latent tuberculosis (LTBI).
The clinic also provides its clients with assistance enrolling in the Health Insurance Marketplace (Obamacare) and hosts a free tax return preparation program in partnership with the IRS.

Income Tax Returns
Free in-person tax preparation assistance for low to medium income households provided by IRS-certified volunteers between January and April each year.
